Växjö konsthall is a council run art gallery that develops exhibitions with both Swedish and international artists. We are a meeting place where contemporary art practice is displayed and discussed. 

Contemporary art practice today comprises many parallel aspects and methods of expression. Artists work more frequently in a manner which crosses traditional boundaries, in a globalised world where the local and the international go hand in hand. Växjö konsthall will reflect these developments though constantly evolving and responding to art’s terms and developments.  

In addition to our exhibition programme we have a broad range of evening events, symposia, concerts and workshops … We always have something interesting in the works. Växjö konsthall always has free entry and free guided tours to our own exhibitions and events.

We can be found at Västra Esplanden 10, directly across from the city library in central Växjö.

Every effort has been made to ensure that Växjö konsthall is wheelchair accessible, including a remote assisted entrance and adapted toilet facilities.

Opening hours

Sunday - Monday, closed.
Tuesday-Friday, from 12-6 pm.
Saturday, from 12–4 pm.
